Recreational Trampolining

Joint Head Coaches Louise Finney and Coach Kate Lawton organise all of the beginners/development sessions and these act as a feed into the main competitive side of the club.

The sessions are all coached by fully qualified; child protection trained and CRB checked coaches so your children are in safe hands.

The classes are for children aged 5 upwards and are aimed at developing basic skills and awareness on the trampoline through twist and somersaults. They are also ideal for those who love to bounce away on their garden trampolines as they will develop safety awareness and a better understanding of the sport.  In addition to the skills learnt, the classes also aid the gymnasts to develop memory skills by having to remember routines and sequences.

All of the gymnasts have their own personal development cards which progress through the Trampolining Proficiency Awards scheme that is endorsed by British Gymnastics.

In addition the club holds periodic internal Club Competitions where the junior bouncers compete against each other to gain experience of trampolining in a competitive environment.

Further awards may be pursued as a competitive member of the club.
